Agree with all that Garth...

Bets such as 'pie eating' should not be allowed within the parameters of 'in game' gambling.

Fucking shenanigans if you ask me.

On a moral level, it seems they were trying to humiliate him by having such a bet. He prob thought 'fuck you, I'll make some money then'.

Legally wrong but understandable.

We live in a democracy and if I want to pick a fat man eating a pie over a brilliant goal, I will.

I had to check that we hadn't fast forwarded to April when I read this story.

Fuck me this is bringing out some right po-faced twats. Some betting site offers odds on a geezer to eat a pie and you have people in all earnest judging the bloke for playing along. Get a grip.

"That is pathetic, unless he himself put a bet on."

But it's not really is it . If someone's "Mate" made a bet that he would miss a penalty and then he fired it 30 yards over the bar on purpose , would that be ok ?

As trivial and pathetic as it sounds , he knew the rules and there are no Gray areas

You preferred some fat non-league cunt eating a pie to Carroll's volley?

We already knew you were a complete CRETIN, Nicholas, you don't have to keep confirming it.

Apparently we made an enquiry about a deal for his brother Rick, but it fell through as he was unable to carry Noble for 90 mins.

How is the investigation into Joey Barton making about 1,200 bets on football going?
Think it's a couple of months old and he is still playing

I think all football fans should get behind Wayne Shaw.

Not had a good game of hide & seek for years.

The Sun can be "it".

On The Ball

If he knew then that was stupid but it all depends on the size of the bets I guess.

Re: Sutton sack Wayne Shaw
Wayne should now do a calendar of him eating different fast foods, pies Doner Kebabs burgers Pasties etc, and I for one will buy one, as long as he has his Goalkeeper kit on and is wearing his gloves in every picture.

He didn't just resign, he was asked to resign

HairyHammer 8:24 Tue Feb 21
Re: Sutton sack Wayne Shaw
Watching Wayne Shaw eating that pie was my favourite football related thing this year, it even surpassed that brilliant Carroll volley, but now I feel used and dirty.

I still do not know why he resigned the man is a hero to fat footballers everywhere, bloody bookies.
